Camp notes

Day 1: We get to know each other, play games, and start to think about the songs and dances we'd like to feature. By the end of the day, we will have an outline of the story we are going to tell.

Day 2 & 3 - Mornings are spent in our age groups (usually 6-8, 9-11 and 11+) in acting, singing, and dancing classes, devising scenes for the show, and working on our musical numbers. In the afternoons we come together to work on opening/finale numbers and to show each other what we've been up to in the mornings.

Day 4 - We start to put the show together and by the end of the afternoon we might just have staggered through a full run!

Day 5 - Into the theatre with costumes and make-up. We rehearse, dress rehearse and then it's show time!

The camp is based in Sandringham School on The Ridgeway, St Albans, with our show on Friday 12 April in the Sandpit Theatre.
