During our 5-day interactive camps we will sing, dance, act and, at the end of the week, perform a brand new musical, built around the talents, input and interests of our cast, for family and friends at The Sandpit Theatre.
Camp notes
Our unique formula, based on 25 years’ experience of bringing amazing performing arts experiences to children, means that every week is different so children can attend as many as they like.
We start with the name of the week and that’s all! Over the course of just 5 days, camp attendees invent the story, choose the songs and dance numbers, devise the scenes and script the play (with us following on behind typing things up) before putting on an amazing show for families and friends. It's the best way for every child to shine in a unique show created around them.
Week 1: ‘Dream Works’
Mon 29 Jul – Fri 2 Aug 2024
Our Week 1 Summer Camp Attendees will sing, dance, act, and create a brand-new musical inspired by the movies of DreamWorks, think Madagascar, Trolls, Kung Fu Panda, and Shrek. At the end of the week, we’ll present a spectacular show of our own making to family and friends at The Sandpit Theatre.
Week 2: ‘HamilTown’
Mon 5 Aug – Fri 9 Aug 2024
Join us for our historic Week 2 Summer Camp, where we’ll step back in time to create an original musical inspired by shows like Six, Les Misérables and, of course, Hamilton. To conclude 5 days of singing, dancing, and acting, we’ll perform our new piece to family and friends at The Sandpit Theatre.
Week 3: ‘Pop Fiction’
Mon 12 Aug – Fri 16 Aug 2024
During our Week 3 Summer Camp, we’ll sing, dance, and act, using chart toppers from artists like Taylor Swift, Harry Styles and Billie Eilish as our inspiration. Along the way, we’ll create a new musical to perform to family and friends at the end of the week at The Sandpit Theatre.
